Army Green Off the Shoulder Layers
I never thought, after many years of disliking the army color while living in Cuba that I will be a fan of it. As a child, I had to dress in the militant outfit about once a month for military practice. We were taken to the shooting range with a bibi gun to target practice. I was a terrible shooter back then, maybe the fact that I was a child and very nervous of other kids shooting me had a lot to do with it.Today I have many pieces in army green, shoes, dresses, outwear, etc. This dress I recently purchased from shein.com is one of my favorites. It has a zipper at the back; the material is soft and stretchy making it perfect for layering.
The balloon sleeves are a new fashion trend, but I see them as a style that will stick as a statement. I am a fan of pinup and old Hollywood glam, and that is all the length and pencil cut of the dress are telling me. I layered it with an embroidered long sleeve top. The flowers on the shoulders add texture to the dress so there was no need for accessories. They also complement the shoes, oh my the shoes are insane! I absolutely love them more for the comfort than the style. They are Gucci inspired from Cherry's Hair and More a little privately own store in the middle of Half Way Tree in Kingston.
My five years old son Zab directed and shot this pictures for me at Eyeland Eyewear Head Quarters parking lot.
I will love to hear your thoughts on this layered style I wore to a meeting at the office on Thursday. Leave your comments below and don't forget to subscribe.
